Alison is a Costs Lawyer and Managing Director of a well-established Legal Costs Practice, with offices based in Wales and Bristol. She has over 25 years’ experience within the legal costs industry.
Alison’s extensive business experience is reflected by her ability to relate to clients at all levels and to provide a pragmatic yet commercial approach. A combination of her ability to rapidly get to grips with the issues and keep everyone focused on commercial reality, enables her to keep the parties engaged with her whilst forcing candid reality testing of their position. Her commitment to the mediation ensures the parties feel content at the end of the process and that they have taken ownership of the settlement.
Alison has been involved in some of the highest profile cases in Wales and Northern Ireland in recent years that cover Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury, Judicial Review and Education law. She has represented clients at costs hearings in a number of high profile cases in the High Court, County Court, the Supreme Court Costs Office and the House of Lords.
