John graduated from the University of Leicester and joined a specialist insurance legal costs team in early 1995. He qualified as one of the first Costs Lawyers of the Association of Costs Lawyers with rights of audience in September 2007.

John acts for Claimants and Defendants dealing with professional and clinical negligence disputes as well as high value commercial and personal injury claims. John also has experience in complex HSE and Solicitors Act cases and is an experienced advocate having represented clients in House of Lords, Privy Council and SCCO proceedings as well as in commercial arbitrations and in the Lands Tribunal. John is also an accredited Mediator having trained at the London School of Mediation.

John has been instructed to provide expert witness evidence on the subject of ATE insurance premium challenges and in professional negligence proceedings. He also conducts audits for various commercial organisations and regulatory bodies.
