Keith Levene

Keith has practised for over thirty years as a law costs consultant and provides specialist law costs advice and advocacy services on costs issues and claims arising in and from commercial disputes in England and internationally.

Keith is a Costs Lawyer and is head of Pinsent Masons law costs team. He has ‘rights of audience’ and ‘rights to conduct costs litigation’ as a Costs Lawyer pursuant to the Legal Services Act 2007, is a practising member of The Academy of Experts, an accredited Mediator with CEDR, a member of the LexisNexis PSL Dispute Resolution Editorial Board, and a member of the Association of Costs Lawyers.

Keith has particular expertise in connection with:

Funding options, third party funding, litigation risk transfer and costs budgets;

Dealing with costs claims and disputes (to in excess of £50m);

Advocacy and negotiation in:

• England and Wales (Supreme Court, Privy Council, Court of Appeal, High Court, County Court, commercial arbitration and tribunal proceedings and between the parties costs assessment); and
• International arbitrations and costs proceedings (including Hong Kong, Brunei, Indonesia, the West Indies, England, Ireland and Scotland);

Costs issues arising in and from court, arbitration and tribunal proceedings;

Expert determination; and

Solicitor and client costs.
